The illustrious history of Lentsaba Village unfurls as a profound journey of learning and growth. In our quest to champion the mission of Saving Orphans through Health and Outreach (SOHO), we were introduced to Cynthia Prime, the visionary CEO of SOHO, whose unwavering dedication ignited a spark within us. Motivated by the mission of SOHO, our faculty embarked on an arduous brainstorming process, driven by a burning desire to create a sustainable enterprise that harnessed the remarkable strengths of the people of Eswatini.

Amidst countless brainstorming sessions, a revelation emerged – art, a vibrant and indispensable source of income for many Swazis supporting the thriving tourism trade. However, the unforeseen advent of the global pandemic altered the landscape, inflicting unprecedented financial losses upon numerous small tour entrepreneurs. Undeterred, the School of Business Administration (SBA) rose to the challenge, seizing the opportunity to provide a beacon of hope amidst the chaos.

Thus, Lentsaba Village, aptly named “The Mountain,” was born. It stands tall as an empowering platform and sanctuary, where artisans from diverse low-income and low-literacy countries converge, their artistic creations meticulously curated by our exceptional staff and dedicated volunteers.
